O Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia de Produção (PPGEP) recebe a visita de Professor Jerzy Michnik financiada pelo grant DEC-2013/09/B/HS4/01102 do National Science Centre/Poland.
O PPGEP irá promover na terça-feira, dia 12/09, às 14:30h, no Departamento de Engenharia de Produção, a palestra “WINGS: Weighted Influence Non-linear Gauge System”, ministrada pelo professor Jerzy Michnik:
“WINGS: Weighted Influence Non-linear Gauge System”
The WINGS method has been derived from DEMATEL and can be widely used as a structural model for analysis of intertwined factors and causal relations between them. Its novelty comes from an idea of including in one mathematical mechanism both strength (importance) and influence of the system components. In particular, WINGS can be applied as the MCDA method for evaluating alternatives when interrelations between criteria cannot be neglected. For the problem with independent criteria, WINGS reproduces the additive aggregation of preferences, a classical method in MCDA.”
Prof. Jerzy Michnik possui Dr Hab. (habilitation), Ph.D. em economia pela University of Economics in Katowice e MSc em Física, onde atua como professor no Departamento de Pesquisa Operacional. Seus principais interesses de pesquisa atuais englobam a Teoria Geral de Sistemas (Systems Thinking), análise de decisão e aplicações para solucionar problemas complexos, gestão estratégica e gestão da inovação. Prof. Michnik é autor de diversos artigos publicados em revistas e livros internacionais, além de fazer parte do corpo editorial de periódicos, tais como Decision Support Systems, International Journal of Applied Management Science e Journal of Economics and Management.
