DOCTORAL STUDENT OF PPGEP-UFPE RECEIVES AWARD IN INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM

The doctoral candidate Jean Gomes Turet received the “EWG-DSS-Award” for best work by a doctoral student presented at the ICDSST 2021 International Conference on Decision Support System Technology, which took place this year at the School of Business and Economics at Loughborough University, UK, from May 26 to 28, 2021.

The winning paper is entitled “Decision Support System to Brazilian Public Security Management: a hybrid methodology (unstructured and structured data)” and was co-authored by Professor Ana Paula Cabral Seixas Costa.

The annual “EWG-DSS-Award” chooses the best and most innovative among submitted and presented work by students or young researchers, in the EWG-DSS organized workshops and conference streams of the same year.
