It is with great honor that the Graduate Program in Management Engineering of the Federal University of Pernambuco announces that Professor ADIEL TEIXEIRA DE ALMEIDA was honored with The Georg Cantor Award from the International Society on MCDM (Multiple Criteria Decision-Making). The Society highlights that “this is the highest honor that the International Society on Multiple Criteria Decision Making bestows upon a scholar who, over a distinguished career, has markedly contributed to the theory, methodology, practice and professional development of MCDM”.
The award was conferred to Prof. Adiel de Almeida during the International Conference on MCDM that took place from June 26 to July 1, 2022, in Portsmouth, England-UK.

The PPGEP at UFPE has the first Brazilian researcher to receive the award from the International Society on MCDM.
