PPGEP-UFPE receives Professor Phuc Do Van, from the Université de Lorraine, France.

As part of the first mission related to the COFECUB project, which involves several lectures from PPGEP and professors Phuc Do Van and Iung Benoît from the French team, Professor Do Van will be at PPGEP-UFPE during the period from 04/09/2019 to 17/04/2019, having a lecture scheduled in the PPGEP for the day 04/04/2019 at 2:00 pm in the PPGEP classroom. His lecture will be entitled “Predictive maintenance decision-making for multi-component systems”.

Phuc DO is currently working as an associate professor at Lorraine University, Research Centre for Automatic Control (CRAN CNRSUMR 7039), France. He received his Ph.D. in Systems Optimisation and Dependability in 2008 from Troyes University of Technology (France)where he held an assistant professor position from 2009 to 2011. His research interests include stochastic modelling for reliability indicators prediction, optimization of maintenance policies, reliability importance measures and their related applications. He is co-guest editor of the Special Issue on Maintenance Modelling, Reliability Engineering System Safety, co-chair of the 9th and 10th International Conferenceon Modelling in Industrial Maintenance and Reliability (MIMAR9 and MIMAR10) and an IPC member of international conferences. He has published over 60 research publications ininternational journals and conferences.
